ABOUT

Jodi Darring

I help organize the moving parts of your business so you can focus, follow through, and actually enjoy the process.

Hi! I'm Jodi. Founder of Darring Virtual Services and your behind-the-scenes business partner.

I started DVS because I wanted to use my strengths— strategy, organization, and thoughtful leadership—to help others build businesses that feel good to run.

What began as a solo venture has grown into a network of trusted, vetted (by me!) professionals who can support just about anything your business might need. I’ve built this model intentionally and only work with people I trust, so you don’t have to figure out who to hire or how to manage them.

I also work side-by-side with my incredible virtual assistant, Nicole, who brings so much joy, consistency, and fresh energy to DVS. With her support, I’m no longer buried in the day-to-day tasks I used to carry alone - and my business feels fun again. That’s exactly the kind of energy I love creating for my clients.

A TRACK RECORD
OF GETTING THINGS DONE

As a clinical research coordinator, I supported both the families participating in the studies and the research teams running them. I led day-to-day operations, managed multiple systems and processes, and became the go-to person for problem solving, communication, and keeping everything moving.

I hold a BS in eCommerce, a MS-Certification in Clinical Research Organization and Management, and a Project Management Certification. I was trained as an Online Business Manager through Sarah Noked’s OBM School.

My background includes years of managing complex clinical research in pediatrics, with a focus on two areas that are near and dear to my heart - cerebral palsy and autism. That work required precision, coordination, and steady leadership.

My experiences have taught me how to lead with both clarity and compassion, and those same skills are at the heart of how I support my clients now.

I know what it means to dig deep and work hard.

These days, I balance a full-time role in research compliance with running DVS - a business I pour into with real intention and care. I started this business to create opportunities for my family that we couldn’t quite reach otherwise. With college tuition now on the horizon for my oldest, my motivation to keep building is stronger than ever.

When we work together, I become your partner in progress: the one who keeps things moving, clear, and grounded. You stay the face and leader of your business, while I quietly hold the structure behind the scenes.

A FEW THINGS THAT MAKE ME, ME

Outside of work, I’m a wife, a mom to two super cool teenagers, and the proudest dog mom to Billie, my mini-Bernedoodle and loyal office sidekick.

I love live music, especially The Steel Wheels (my favorite band in the whole world), snowy days, the beach, and slow mornings. I’m also really into pottery. It’s my creative escape and the one place where I fully unplug from work and let my hands lead.

I’m also active in my community in ways that feel meaningful to me. I support local nonprofits I care about, stay involved in my Episcopal church, and love that community dearly. I do what I can to show up for others walking through hard things. That kind of steady, behind-the-scenes support matters deeply to me, in business and in life.

THE CALM IN THE CHAOS

I’m a Nine on the Enneagram and a Generator in Human Design. I’m calm, consistent, and built for meaningful work.

I take my clients’ businesses seriously because I take my business seriously. And I would be honored to help make yours feel lighter, more focused, and more aligned with what you really want.
